ZIN Re-Scrambles BRUNCHBEATZ’S “BIZCOCHO”
BrunchBeatz is back with another serving of ‘The Menu: Rescrambled.’ After years of making tearout and dubstep under a separate project, Michigan’s Brunchbeatz has been releasing heat from just about every subgenre of electronic music in 2020. This time, his smash hit “Bizcocho” gets a hefty flip from ZIN, a Charlotte based artist with a unique sound and a broad range of influences. With growling bass, hefty synths, and pristine percussion, this remix simply bangs.
ZIN keeps that loud, rail-breaking sound with his rendition of “Bizcocho.” But in contrast to the original, sawing synth leads take control and consume the listener. Wave elements fuse with heavy bass patterns and experimental distortion to give us an equally impressive bass track. Around the 2:25 mark, a second drop is slammed on the listener. Haunting choir samples are paired with thick textures to take listeners to a euphoric level. With such an impressive track, both BrunchBeats and ZIN are definitely artists to keep an eye on in 2021.
